Stop Guessing.
Price the Risk.

ClimateNest is Australia's leading actuarial engine for residential real estate. We don't just find environmental problems; we calculate their impact on your net wealth. Our proprietary ClimateNest Index™ assesses 8 climate hazards — flood, bushfire, heat, coastal erosion, wind, storm, social vulnerability, and energy — delivering a comprehensive 0–100 risk score for every property.

Why we built this

The climate risk of a property sits with insurers, banks and councils — and almost never with the person signing the contract. This is what we do about it.

72 seconds · Built on 16 government and scientific datasets · No signup required

Avoid the "Uninsurable Cliff"

Standard building inspections check the pipes; we check the future. By 2030, 1 in 25 Australian homes will be effectively uninsurable. When insurance premiums triple, property values don't just plateau—they collapse.

The $50k Mistake

Buying into a "Red Zone" without pricing in the A$5,000+ annual premium loading.

Yield Protection

Our models identify "Climate Alphas"—properties that will retain value while others stagnate.

Our Actuarial Vision

Built by Actuaries, Grounded in Government Data

Every hazard score is built from official government data fetched live for the address: BOM, CSIRO, Geoscience Australia, ABS, state fire services and state hazard mapping. The ClimateNest Index is then calculated from those eight hazard scores by one published rule, so the headline rating follows from the hazard scores rather than being a separate judgement. AI reads that data and writes the assessment and its plain-English explanation.

ClimateNest was founded to close the information gap between institutional lenders and private buyers. Banks use these models to protect their mortgage books. We believe you should use them to protect your family home.

Our proprietary ClimateNest Index Score synthesises 16 government data sources into a single strategic verdict. We don't just provide data; we provide a financial roadmap for a changing world.

8 Hazard Scores

Every report scores flood, bushfire, extreme heat, coastal erosion, wind, storm, social stability, and energy trajectory from government data fetched for that address, not from an estimate.

Comparison based on publicly available product documentation as of October 2026. Feature sets may have changed. Groundsure ClimateIndex is available through InfoTrack for NSW properties only, and Groundsure states a 24-hour delivery time; Climate Valuation publishes no turnaround. ClimateNest time to report was measured end to end on the production API in October 2026, across repeated full reports, ranging from 43 to 63 seconds - this includes analysis and PDF generation, not PDF render time alone. Two addresses submitted as a batch complete in about 50 seconds, because they generate concurrently. Climate Valuation requires user-input construction details and may produce different results based on property attributes.
